Veldt

The product of a couple hours in Photoshop after playing Limbo, listening to The Veldt by Deadmau5 and reading The Veldt by Ray Bradbury.

UPDATE: Added a couple extra feaures (rocks, the hill in the background, etc), redid the giraffe, redid the foreground long-grass, tweaked the Lion's head to appear less lopsided, pulled out the sand-dunes, connected a rogue tree branch to the leaves better and adjusted the colours to appear more vibrant and redish.
